Easter Sunday Tablescape

Easter is a big deal in Greece. Preparations for Easter Sunday commence weeks ahead! Everyone gives their homes that spring cleaning feeling and gardens all set up for Easter Sunday—there’s this distinct buzz in the air!

We host Easter at our house and it’s basically a day of hanging out and eating! Although it’s a Greek tradition to roast lamb on a spit, we enjoy barbecuing souvlakia and chicken. We keep it simple! Our day starts of with coffee, brunch and traditonal Easter cookies that Georgio and I make —which are a MUST Easter time! As the day flows, the day’s commotion starts with good company, food, music and wine. I’m a person who enjoys hosting so, I take great pride in the table setting! I’ve put together a few of my recent favourite things for our Sunday and not only!

Tablecloth—this hand block printed table cloth is something that caught my eye! In the fall, I bought a throw with similar pattern from Etsy which is absolutely beautiful and I love so much, so imagine my excitement when I was this!

Green Linen Napkins—just as the tablecloth, these scalloped linen napkins are just so so beautiful! The detailing just gives it a little special something! Paired perfectly with these wildflower raffia napkin holders for those perfect little details!

Cake Stand—every holiday table/ countertop needs a cake stand with a dome. It’s a must when it comes for those sweet savoury desserts that need safeguarding from outdoor bugs and it looks really nice on any table setting.

Bamboo Metal Utensils—there is something classy about bamboo utensils. These are by far the nicest I’ve seen and a perfect gift for a hostess!

Glass Tumbler—I finally found the perfect summer tumbler for drinks! Ribbed and dots!

Paperwhites—picked up a few paperwhites from a local nursery and I knew with a simple terracotta pot, they’ll look so lovely on our Easter table. Simple and sweet!  {image}

There’s no need to go over the top when it comes to hosting and making things lovely! It’s the smallest details and those little additions that can really make a table setting stand out! Hoping you enjoy your Easter Sunday!
