The Interior Edit is a page of design, home decor, tips, conversation and inspiration.

So here it is….the first Interior Edit post! I’m really excited about starting this for many reasons! It’s important to create a home that makes you feel good the moment you step in.

I came to realise the important of the home “feels” when we were visiting my family in Canada. My sister and her husband had just bought their home and as soon as I walked in I thought….”It feels so calm and refreshing!” With its French style windows, natural wood floors and large open spaces, freshly painted walls in Parisian whites and taupes….just made the place feel serene! Nothing close to what our home in Greece felt like! Thanks to my sister’s great sense of style and approach….I needed this vibe in my home! So, I started exploring!

I’m drawn to natural elements—wood, stone, metal, clouds, hues of ocean blues….wicker/raffia, terracotta, flowers, trees….sunlight, white clouds, ocean blue hues….these are things I gravitate to.

Books and vintage pieces are another thing I like to see around a home. I love seeing bookcases filled with beautiful spines and vintage trinkets! I take my time when it comes to things for our home.

Creating spaces that we love has benefitted our family as a whole….cozy spaces and corners, a little organising and decluttering goes a long way!

On this first Interior Edit, sharing some home inspiration. Thanks for being here and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

“I want my home to be a safe haven, a place where we can connect and feel loved. I want it to be comfortable and beautiful, a place where rest is valued.”
